Excellent service from the moment we arrived, throughout the evening, and upon leaving. The views are stunning with the West facing windows for sunsets over the Northwest portion of the mall and White House. The staff was helpful in welcoming me and my foldable electric scooter with helmet - in DC this valet makes a difference! The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and cocktails. Our party of 6 enjoyed shrimp +calamari, fried chicken oysters, goat cheese croquettes and the yucca truffle fries. For dinner we had adobo chicken, mushroom pasta, burger, branzino, and raw oysters. We nearly tried the entire menu, and everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The craft cocktails were prepared with care and fresh ingredients. The staff even brought a birthday celebration cake slice at the end!

Gorgeous views, great service, delicious cocktails. Definitely on the pricey side, with craft cocktails ranging from about $25-30, but they’re incredibly tasty and appropriately boozy. I always love a place that puts thought and creativity into their drink menu, especially when there’s a gorgeous rooftop view.
I recommend reservations, but we walked in right at 4:00pm when they open and were able to grab some first-come, first-served seats with a view. The calamari & shrimp were great too! The rooftop itself isn’t open air, but an indoor space with tons of windows so you can see the view without battling the elements. Heaters made everything cozy & warm on an otherwise cold & windy day.

It’s been a while since I have been back here and not sure why I haven’t been back sooner. Maybe the prices lol 🤷🏻♂️ 😜 Seeing that view reminds me it’s worth it. A great view in DC right next to the white house. So close you can damn near throw a rock at it. Don’t do that haha. Cocktails are good too but pricey. The food is good but not anything to run home and tell your neighbors about. But oof, that view! It’s nice and worth checking out for sure if you are in the area. Don’t get me wrong, the food and drinks aren’t bad it’s just one of those spots that you come for the view. Everything else is whatevs. Super convenient just blocks from the metro too. You can scoot on in and dabble in a little bit of this and a little bit of that and scoot on out no problemo.

I had a dinner in Vue.
The welcome was warm and nice.
The views to the White House and the Washington monument are astonishing.
The food was excellent, i came from NYC and the food and the service was lower there.
I suggest to taste fish!
Or the Duck.
And compliments the main hostess! A very warm and friendly blonde lady! Thanks for making me feel like home! 🙏🏻❤️

VUE in Washington DC is an absolute must-visit! The rooftop views are unreal — you can see the White House, the Washington Monument, and stunning panoramic views of the entire city. It’s one of the best vantage points in DC, especially around sunset or at night when everything lights up.
The food was also incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Combine that with the views, and it makes for an unforgettable experience.
Whether you’re visiting DC for work or just exploring, VUE is the perfect spot for great vibes, amazing scenery, and delicious food. Highly recommend!

My best friend and I have made a tradition of coming here whenever she’s in town, and it has always been an experience we look forward to. The service has consistently been excellent, and the views capture some of the most beautiful parts of DC, making it a perfect setting for photos where you want to look your best with a great backdrop. That said, our last two visits gave us pause. For an establishment where two drinks total $72, one would reasonably expect a certain level of ambiance and presentation. During our most recent visit, we noticed a group of patrons dressed in pajama bottoms, oversized shirts, and Crocs. While comfort certainly has its place, it felt out of step with the atmosphere this venue is meant to offer. We choose to come here and willingly spend on premium drinks because we value a refined, elevated experience. A more thoughtfully upheld dress standard would help preserve the sense of class that originally drew us in. We have never dined here, so I cannot comment on the food.

We enjoyed our dinner and views from our table. The dessert was also delicious and nicely plated. The service delivered was incredible.
Constructive feedback: I would recommend not allowing guests to take pictures while we are having dinner. A few came and snapped pics of their drinks facing the national monument. I think when customers pay over $300 plus, they should enjoy their experience thoroughly, The rope doesn’t offer much privacy when others walk right by it. If your customers pay dollars for the experience, give it to them. Great job overall.
